Returning to your core purpose

I’ve always loved to create & to encourage others to create - whether it’s an ‘organised’ group or just a ‘spontaneous gathering’, there’s usually some cake, a cuppa & some craft supplies. There’s just something magical that happens, chatter, laughter, sometimes crying, but just refreshing.

I’ve had a few suggestions, for places/ways I could ‘utilise’ this crafting business, which is MADE2KREATE & although I like to remain open to new ideas & input from others, it has actually be a positive input, which has helped me to consider, ponder, what actually is MADE2KREATE’s purpose?

For me, it’s not just about another ‘craft group’, it’s not about providing another ‘service’, but it’s actually about preparing a ‘space’ for people to come & be refreshed. I’ve always loved the idea of doing ‘retreats’, but at this stage doing week long, or even ‘weekend retreats’ just isn’t a possibility, but starting with 1 day retreat, is definately a good starting point.

So here I am, at the beginning of another year, after a wonderfully refreshing Summer holiday, full of energy, passion & excitement for this new year… well, that’s not entirely the case… yes, I’m very blessed to have had time with family & friends, to have been able to sell our house & move to a new house, in a relaxing rural setting, but if I’m honest, I’m still feeling a bit tired. Maybe it’s just the last couple of years, maybe it’s an ‘age’ thing, or maybe I just need some more vitamins lol :-)
