Hard pressed
I’m going to start this blog (long overdue) with something I’m sure just about every other blog over the last couple of years has said, “What a hard season this has been!” With all the change & uncertainty, it has definitely challenged us all in one way or another. That aside, life will always have those seasons that are harder than others but it is important to also see this as an opportunity for something beautiful to come out of it.
We are currently in the process of moving house, clearing out cupboards, rummaging through ‘treasures’? Whilst sorting our garage out, I came across an old ‘flower press’ from years ago, forgotten under a stack of papers. As I removed the press some of the contents fell out, some beautifully pressed little delicate blooms! Amazing that even though they had been in a ‘hard pressed’ situation, they had still managed to keep their beauty!
I will be keeping these to use in one of my creative craft projects.
So be encouraged, in the midst of your ‘pressing season’, something beautiful is going to come out of it!
